Disney star Selena Gomez has been confirmed as the host of this year's MTV Europe Music Awards. The 19-year-old is set to follow in the footsteps of past presenters including Katy Perry and Eva Longoria when she hosts the ceremony in Belfast. Selena will also help out on the digital front, engaging with fans on Twitter and sharing behind-the-scenes gossip. Justin Bieber's girlfriend said in a statement: "I'm so excited to be the host of the 2011 MTV EMAs - it's a dream come true!"
